Creative Director, The Honeycomb
The Creative Director of The Honeycomb Campus Media of Abuyog Community College and a senior student taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English. With a passion for storytelling through visual media, he has earned recognition in various regional and national video and multimedia competitions. Notably, he was 1st Runner-Up in the RTSPC 8 2024 Best Documentary category for "Takip-silim," 2nd Placer in the Department of Tourism Region 8 Infomercial Music Video contest, and a qualifier in the Knowledge Channel Intercollegiate Mini-Documentary competition.

Resource speaker for Department of Education's and other schools' sportswriting workshops and has judged sportswriting and radio broad contests in the Division and Regional Schools Press Conferences (DSPC-RSPC), including the 2013 National Schools Press Conference for Sportswriting(NSPC).
Romolo Reas

A cum laude graduate of ACC, Reas embodies the scholar-mentor archetype, leveraging his mathematical expertise and editorial acumen to cultivate both logical reasoning and narrative voice in students. His career trajectory – from award-winning campus journalist to multi-disciplinary educator – demonstrates the transformative power of merging mathematical literacy with storytelling artistry.




Voltaire Tupaz

Co-founder and CEO of the multimedia production start-up LYF, which he co-founded in 2018 with documentarist Atom Araullo, broadcast industry veteran Rupert Ambil, and advocacy specialist Zak Yuson. He also serves as the Chief Content Officer of the group’s independent media outfit FYT, which promotes public interest and community-oriented journalism. As a journalist, he covers the environment, climate change, disasters, human rights, and development stories.
Dr. Dominador Pagliawan

A seasoned columnist and cartoonist of Leyte Samar Daily Express, known for his incisive commentaries and compelling editorial cartoons. An international and national awardee in editorial cartooning competitions, he is one of the most sought-after lecturers in campus journalism training workshops across the country. A prolific author of journalism books, he also serves as a consistent judge in the Department of Education's multilevel press conferences. Dr. Pagliawan holds a doctorate in Literature and Communication/Journalism and is currently the Director for Research and Extension, Burauen Community College.

Merol Sandawa

A passionate and seasoned photojournalist known for capturing compelling visual stories through the lens. He is the proud owner of Merol Pixels and Cameroll, platforms dedicated to creative and documentary photography. A 2016 National Schools Press Conference qualifier, Merol has honed his craft through years of hands-on experience and campus journalism excellence.

A full-time tattoo artist based in Abuyog, Leyte, known for his expertise in fine lines, micro realism, and black and gray tattoos. A graduate of Bachelor of Hospitality Management of Abuyog Community College and former head cartoonist of The Honeycomb campus media.
